I got a text from my friend today and he signed his text off with xxx. I'm not sure what this means from him but I know that it means kisses if it's sent from a girl. What exactly does this mean?
(btw, I'm not gay with him)

It does sound a little over friendly. Have you tried asking him? are you concerned on what the answer might be?

A fair few of my friends send them after we've finished talking on Facebook or whatever, I think it's pretty normal. Don't think much of it, if you don't reply with any he'll probably eventually stop!

Just look on it as a friendly gesture

I'm not concerned about it but I hope that it does mean what I hope it means. I've had a crush on him for a few years now. He's never done that until recently though.

You should informally ask him about it. See where the conversation goes...

The xxx is kisses, and usually when people meet (older usually) they do the greeting of kissing each others cheeks. I don't see it as much, just a friendly gesture.

Probably just as a joke... that's understandable if he does it once, I'd let it go... but if he does it more times, I'd ask him either what he means by it or tell him that you're uncomfortable with him doing that and to please stop.
