Ok so I just watched The Secret Window last nigh [LOOOVE IT!] and I just can't help but marvel at Johnny Depp. Without even including his borderline-illegal good looks, he is probably the single most talented actor in the world. He can take any part at all and shape it into the most complex of characters that you feel you know in real life. There is nothing he can't do! From the Secret Window to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Pirates of the Caribbean, he has showed ample talent to perform any part given to him with exceeding talent and emotion. Basically, he is the god of cinema.

Who agrees??

Those are good movies and all. but people gloat about him so much gets a little annoying.

Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors. Forget how he looks, I stopped fantasizing about him in the 7th grade xP but he is so incredibly versatile. Every character he does is flawless, and you almost can't imagine that it's the same guy portraying all of them. Makes you wonder what he's like in person, since you can't tell at all on screen.

Yeah those are good movie and he's a good actor. But his rendition of Willy Wonka scared me.

Lol a lot of people say that. I personally thought it was absolutely brilliant. I mean seriously, an eccentric candy maker who's lived for decades in a factory with frigging insane oompa loompas - do you really think he'd be a bright, hyperactive perfectly friendly guy?? I think not :P
