For something like that, I would refer you to a doc, as most of us here are not medical experts. I more say that in the event that it would clear your mind if tests come back clear, rather than possibly worrying over nothing for ages.

If even just to get peace of mind, seeing a Doc would be my best advice

Well I assume any doctor would check it out for you. I'm sure your parent(s) or guardians would have no trouble bringing you?

The laws vary depending on where you live but regardless, you should probably tell any parent/guardian with whom you are most comfortable. Sure it might be a bit embarrassing in the beginning, but it's better to then have it checked out instead of not going, and having this potentially turn into something more dangerous.

but u cut it intentionally? why u don't wanna tell ur parents?

anyway... u got to pay for a doctor usually, maybe a public hospital will help...

First of all cutting into a birth mark will not have given you some kind of cancer. if you didn't have skin cancer before then you won't now and if you do now it will have been there from before cutting into the birth mark.

What makes you suspect cancer. Pain alone would not suggest cancer - if you cut into your skin it will be painful. Or did you suspect something before and decided to cut into it to see what it looked like? Depending on how deep you cut do you know what healthy skin is supposed to look like at that depth? And no, I don't suggest you make a second cut to compare.

Obviously the best resassurance would be from a medical professional but I don't know what the arrangements are for that where you live. Where I am seeing a doctor is free under the UK NHS and they have also been running skin cancer drop in sessions staffed by dermatologists. I also don't know what the arrangements are for booking in to see doctor and whether that would need your parents. If you would have to pay or claim ion insurance that would almost certainly mean you parents would need to be party to it.

if you talk to your parents it may be good to be honest but if you feel that is not possible you don't have to tell them the cutting was deliberate but obviously you do need to mentioned your concerns.

Im slightly confused by this...
Just go and see a doctor, either at hospital or local. It's ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry. I'm not sure how hospitals/doctors surgeries work around where you live, but here in the UK with the NHS, you can just walk in, go to reception and wait in queue - and it's all confidential unless your doctor decides he HAS to tell your parents.

If i go to local doctor will he order me to go to dermatologist? Or he will say that I need to call my parents?

Doctors do usually respect patient confidentiality, however it may be the case where a minor is involved (under the age of 16 or 18 dependant on where you come from), they may have a duty of care to involve your parent of guardian. Given what you describe, I can't tell if a doc could very quickly tell if you are worrying over nothing (in which case you have piece of mind), or weather it's serious (in which case your parents should really be involved). If you prefer, is there a nurse at your school or other person, that could have basic medical knowledge, that could set your mind at rest, just by having a quick glance?

You don't get cancer overnight from cutting. But you could have a serious infection.
Keeping it a secret from your parents really isn't an option so just give up on that.
If you wait until it becomes something serious, they're going to find out about it anyways.

It wouldn't matter if you cut the skin on the birthmark or not. And it's just a cut which is no big deal. Unless it's infected, then it'll be a big deal if left untreated.

Will alcohol help to disinfect it?

Yes. But it won't help much if there is already an infection. For my cuts I use a spray on disinfectant called Bactine and then I use an antibiotic ointment called Neosporin. That helps prevent an infection. But if an infection has already set in, then you may need penicillin pills from a doctor. My index finger got infected recently after I accidentally stabbed it. The area got swollen and painful and just as I was about to say I needed antibiotics from the doctor, my own immune system won out and the pain and swelling started going away.

Birthmarks are common. There's no need to worry too much on them, though it's no harm in asking your mum if you want it checked out and removed. In terms of the cut that you now have, does it look like it's healing in itself? If not, get your doc to check it out, though if anything, you are more likely to get cream to sooth and heal it rather than it being anything more serious.

If you have something that looks messed up to you in some way, then it could be something serious.

Backtracking, are you saying you tried to cut out a birthmark or the birthmark had a carcinoma looking spot you tried to cut out?

It sounds like you've just cut yourself. As with any cut, it will take a few days to heal. Unless the cut is large or deep, or was bleeding heavily, you should be OK. As with any cut, if it goes a funny colour, get it checked out. It's not serious, but the doc would give you cream for it if needed.

Dude, you show your mom, you know the person who gave birth to you, changed your diapers etc. And then being the adult who is your primary caregiver, she will make the decision of, "oh that's nothing, it will heal" or "I don't like the way that looks, I'm taking you to a doctor to have it checked".
