View Full Version : Its my or her fault?

I am 14 and in love with a boy in my class but I'm very shy. My "best friend" had the idea along with a few colleagues to lock us in a very tiny cleaning room so I could talk about my feelings for him and she said he would be next to me to be less shy. Everything worked and we were only three of us in the room.
But when the time came I was really very shy and let him hurt unintentionally. My friend felt sorry for him and angry with me and ended up hugging him by herself, the boy seemed to like and hugged her back. Something happened between the two and when I noticed I was seeing they slowly french kissing each other. The two make out in front of me until the colleagues unlock the door. Now I'm at home crying, I thought she did not need to reach that point, it was really my fault? What do I do now?

What a potent first post :/
I would'nt blame it on you, what they did was by their own accord. Other than that, there is little i can say except for I'm sorry you had to be part of this situation :(

it might have been just adrenaline... does ur friend even have a friendship or anything at all with the boy?
i'm a boy...and i can tell maybe i'd have done the same... but it doesn't mean i like her at all...
maybe u should just try to talk to him again... but alone, that kind of things must be done alone... it's a very personal moment...

Thanks for the replies. if someone wants to know what happened, I found that I need to choose my friends more carefully, look at her messages
She: Yes, I liked him but I did not plan what happened. I felt bad when you hurt him and I wanted you to feel the same. If he ask me out I will accept without any fear. He liked me.
(I get it now, I had commented to her that I was saving my first kiss for him)
Me: Okay, I speak a word or two for him and you kiss him about six inches away from me, and knowing that I liked him. A very reasonable decision.
She: I wish I had seen your face, but I was too busy. It was very pleasurable ;]

Wow.... What a "Best Friend".
Honestly, all i could say is forget both of them, youre only hurting yourself by crying, its not your fault or anyone elses.
I hope you find real friends, i mean thats just harsh tbh.

When you are that shy, its a bit cruel to force you foreward to him as they did, even if they think they help you. But you didnt have to hurt him.

Sorry to say this but your "bestfriend" is a bitch.
The guy you like...I'm not so sure about him.
Its definately not your fault. You just need to wait and you'll probably find someone who will "actually" care about you. Also, I like shy girls...haha they always have something new to do when you run out of things to do.
Bye and GoodLuck!!!

Um, does it really matter?
You had the opportunity - you missed it. I know how it feels, been there too many times.
But, your 'friend' took advantage of that - took advantage of YOU and your weakness.
If I had to pick I'd say hers.
