I have got a teacher who doesn't like me. I had another teacher last year. Last year I was getting A's in the subject while this year I am failing. I asked to transfer to the teacher whom I had last year,
When I asked my current teacher she responded with "that's not how it works in
our school and you know it.' She also said it is because I am absent a lot from class. I then went to her superior (vice principal). Who upon conceltation with my teacher, who claimed 'I don't do my homework' and my transfer (as it relies on her agreement) was denied. I am now stuck there or can move from the highest class in the school to the lowest class in the school. What should I do?

Just saying, unless you're extremely disrespectful, your teacher doesn't actually dislike you. All teachers want you to pass. Before you call me off on it, trust me. I've been in your shoes. I couldn't stand my English teacher last year and I'm pretty sure I ticked him off a few times. I still realized that he just wants me to do well and that philosophy applies to any teacher I could have transferred to.
I'm not sure about your school, but our school dedicates a lot of time to getting help/tutoring from your teacher, tutors, or peers. In fact, on Tuesdays we get out early and have a dedicated tutorial period to go see teachers and get help. I'm sure that if you go to talk to your teacher during lunch, after school or during one of their prep periods, you will get help from your teacher. In fact, you might even begin to like your teacher! It's really important to have a positive student-teacher relationship otherwise the class is just going to be hell for you.
It might not sound like the advise that you're looking for, but I honestly would just go sometime and say to your teacher "hey, it's Mark. I was just wondering if you and I could go over _______ because I really don't understand it at all." If you can't transfer, it'll make the semester a lot more bearable.

It is interesting that I technically found myself in the same situation last semester, I wanted to downgrade to a lower class because she was the only teacher for the higher level course, thankfully I got the change at the end of the semester even though I wanted it earlier. The truth is I failed the class on purpose after a series of events and will be retaking it online, you don't want to do that unless you really mean to. You can do two big things here apart from failing which I do not recommend. The first is fight for the change, say her claims are just to keep you in her class, record classes or take note of anything mean she says to you or anyone else, make a case against her if it is what is required to make the change (you need bravery as well), go to whoever is above the vice principal even, get your parents to call the school, maybe then you will get the change. The other option is to tolerate her until the end of the year, study hard and do things as she wants you to do them, this requires effort on your part though, maybe a lot.

my history teacher does really not like me
every assignment she signs I fail by 1 or 2 marks but if our Monday teacher marks it I get full marks
I have dropped 3 marks in all exams so far and at parents evening she said I had to really pick myself up and improve my attitude if I wanted to pass the minimum competency exam
I got full marks but 2 months before exam season she puts my working grade on my report as a fail (again) and target grade a bare pass (again)
explain that :)

Well here's a place to start. She says you don't do your homework and that's why you're failing? Do you do your homework?

I think you will find that very few teachers actually hate their students. The reason many act tough is because they see it as their way of doing the job well and getting stuff done. I have a teacher who I could have sworn hated my guts, it seemed like she was always out to get me, but then I got the opportunity to talk with her outside of school hours and she explained that she actually likes me a lot and the reason she acts tough and callous is because she cares about my education and wants me to do well. Fair enough in my opinion.

Well last semester in school I was taking a Psychology class and I swear that the teacher didn't like me either, I am Native American so I do have darker skin and my friend would mess around and blame things on me and she wouldn't believe anything that I said. And I'm a really honest and great student A's and B's. So sometimes there's nothing you can really do about it. I wish ya the best of luck.
