How are you, around your partners exes?

How do you behave around your partners exes if they are ever like 'there'?

Some of them I want to violently beat, others I get along with fine.

Um well when I was dating I had the pleasure of being one of his first "real life" boyfriends, so I never saw or talked to his exes as they live in the Southwest. He did talk about them quite often, and it didn't really bug me unless it was pretty obvious there was still some feelings btwn the two.

Like when him and I were dating, he openly told me that he missed his ex, and that's probably one of the few times I've asked people to stop talking to specific people (in this case I asked him to reduce talking to his ex or I'm going to get really upset). Now days I pity his exes and wish they would've warned me :P

Seth only has one ex, if you could even call her that, they weren't together long, and it's been quite a while, but we're very close friends. She's going to be my room-mate in college next year.

I'm fine with them. That doesn't cause any problems. Although my friends never had a bad break up.
