Have you ever failed a grade or class?

Has anyone failed a grade or class? I failed gym class in eighth grade. I also have to retake Earth and Geological Science next year. (Although I have an A in Physics).

I failed Administration at a Vocational School (Ensino Técnico, dunno translation) in T.I. Had to 120 exercises handwritten.

Yeah right. Payed a girl R$50 to do it, passed :D

Although I was really close to flunking Honors Chem 10th grade, I was thankfully able to drop it for regular Chem and I did a bit better in there.

I've never failed a grade. I have failed an English and science class because I got tired of the teachers BS and walked away.

I've never really failed a class thankfully, but I was very close to at times.
In 7th grade I was very close the failing all classes except the English grammar one and art.
In 8th grade I almost failed geography.
In 9th grade I almost failed math (due to geometry), literature, history and writing class.
Last year I almost failed math (again due to geometry).
Now I'm in 11th grade and I'm risking to fail literature.

Thankfully we can't fail grade's or "years" as they're known here, only the classes. On that though, I failed Maths and English last year, first time I've ever failed something.

Maths was expected as I just had probably the worst exam imaginable - it was not a good day... I was angry, at myself, at the exam, at everything - but then I got the results I expected (D) and I'm doing much better this year and much happier :D

I also got a shocker and failed English last year - shock to everyone, teachers, myself, parents. I put it down to my revision choices for the exam - leaving me stranded when the questions didn't go my way to suit what I had done. Again doing better this year - with my prelim for it tomorrow so here's hoping :D

I did fail a crucial test (Called a NAB. Scott, you know what I'm talking about)
that allows you to sit the final exam in that course. It wasn't even a marginal fail... I failed miserably :whoops:

Oh aye - higher Maths 2013 absolute bitch of an exam.

NAB's also are pretty suckish, the amount of people I know last year who worked hard in a subject, to get told in April, a week before going off for study leave, they're not allowed to sit the exam after failing the last NAB.

Yup me too - I like to think I'm quite strong emotionally, and I was ready to break down in that exam haha. Paper 1 I felt good, went in to paper 2 and was just smashed to pieces. I'm amazed I got home before I let it get to me.

Yes, in middle school I failed art, and I think I failed another class don't remember. Didn't really matter then. In high school I've managed to avoid any Ds, although I've had some close calls, like some classes have come down to how I do on my final to see if i pass

Yep. Never failed a grade but I've failed a class definitely lol. I failed Language Arts two years ago, I failed dance this whole grade so far and last year

Thank God I never failed a class but the worst grade I've ever gotten was a B in Math in 4th Grade and I almost got another B this year in Math. Yeah I'm a bit of an over achiever

I failed US Government because my teacher just happened to "never receive my final", and I have to retake it over summer school at some point in order to get out of high school.

I also failed my first semester of Chemistry I. I don't need to retake it to get out of high school, but I will need to take it if I decide to go to a 4-year university..

I failed Health and Science once due to technical difficulties (online school) and absolute lack of drive to get things done. Online school did not treat me well. Finals came freshman year, and everything was an F, but I managed to half-ass everything but Health and Spanish to passing, I think I even had one B.

Lowest grades of my life. I was a straight-A student before high school, and my GPA is still something like 3.8
