Circumsion: Are you happy or not?

Well I decided not to make sensesless post in the Ask All cut/Uncut questions here sticky in boys puberty so I decided to start this.

Are you happy about being cur or uncut? Please explain why or why not. Also state your thoughts on why it should or should not be a topic of debate.

I am fine being cut. I mean it really never mattered to me if I was or not. I think that being cut or uncut should and should not be a debate because of two reasons.

1. why does it matter? I mean every guy has a penis and why should there be a big deal in the foreskin being intact or being cut off to expose the glands (head) of the penis?

2. we should all just be happy with how we were made and how we all differ from eachother in growth.

Well i'm uncut,and i'm verry happy with it aswell,speaking to a few other people they would prefer or not to have the snip but oh well that is life.

I am happy being cut. Since most guys I know are cut, I guess it seems more "normal".
I don't think I'd care if I weren't though.

I agree with Cody fully. Those who are cut can't change it. Those who are uncut want it to be cut but are too afraid of the pain.

And yes be glad that you only have one period =D

Im cut and I didn't even know there was a difference until my friend sleptover one time. He later went and got cut about 6 months later

I'm uncut and OK with it. What happens at birth (one way or other) is out of our control anyhow. I was born in a part of North America where circumcision was decreasing, parents were told it was no longer done. I moved to an area where circumcision is more common and have noticed that I get stared at (urinals/locker room). More than likely they have not seen an intact version before.

How did the practice of circumsion start anyway? I know it was from old times but I wonder what it had signified

It started wayyyy back. Talkin thousands of years even. Started basically as a religious ceremony in the Hebrew (Jewish) culture. Basically back then you were not considered to be a Hebrew or a man of God unless they cut the foreskin of your penis off :eek:

Doesn't make much sense NOW, but I'm cut and the main reason I like it is that it keeps me cleaner and I am not super-sensitive on the head like I know is a problem for some uncut guys (the same goes for not being able to pull the foreskin BACK).

I'm uncut and I'm happy because I'm used to it and I think it looks more natural but I have to clean it more probably compaired to cut guys.

uncut and theres nothing wrong with it, i quite like it. although it doesnt really make much difference.
its your parents decision to make whether to circumsize you so its just background/heritage.
