My friend who I was close too and knew for 5 years, but on the 4th November he took his own life. I know I couldn't of done anything but I still feel guilty and also I sometimes think I see him but I know I don't. Is this normal.

sorry about that bro... i lost a friend too on a car accident... i really miss him a lot, the other day i actually dreamed with him and woke up crying...

but dying is part of life... one person told me "u don't stop feeling pain, u get used to it"

it's completly normal... it's been 3 years now that my friend left... a trick that worked for me, remember him when he was happy, smiling, playing... that makes me feel better and sometimes i even smile...

Death is imminent.
Maybe five years in his company was not enough but remember those awesome moments you had with him.
Why not do great things in your life in his memory? He may perhaps be your new driving force to succeed.

Sorry to hear this bro...
I don't know how it might feel, but i wouldn't like to loose my Favorite Cousin. I sometimes imagine what would i do if he died (my answer in my head is Killing my self). But yeah those are some random things that pop in my head. What i usually do to forget them i remember the good things & i just forget about it... But yeah you should remember all the good memories you had with him, you should also look for new best friends i know it can be hard to find people to replace him. But yeah thats what i would do.

I'm so sorry for your loss.. It always sucks to lose a close person. And you don't need to feel guilty, stuff like this happens and all you should do is just remember every single thing that person gave you out of life, and keep moving forward. Because a good friend would always want you to be happy and reach all you need in life. :)
