So I'm planning on buying a new watch since I wear pretty much the same two to school every day. I'm not sure what would be fitting for a 16 year old Junior in high school. I want something with class but not too formal. Something that grabs attention but isn't too flashy. and under $300. If possible.

Any Ideas?

I have a 5 euro watch from Argos, so my advice isn't valid. XD

I like Fossil watches, they're classy without being too formal.

best thing just take a wander around the stores - see what is out there to get.

Fossil's got some pretty nice guy's watches.... http://www.fossil.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryContentView?langId=-1&storeId=12052&catalogId=25005&categoryId=357584&parent_category_rn=357084&departmentCategoryId=331209&cm_mmc=google-_-TQE-Branded-Fossil-_-adgroup-_-keyword&gclid=CMDcn860pLwCFY07Mgod4h8Azw

You can build your own custom watch as well... http://www.fossil.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?page=wb_mens&cm_vc=387583&storeId=12052&catalogId=25005&langId=-1

Oh and lookie, they've got a $25 off $125 and $50 off $200 offer going on now...

Asos has some nice unpopular branded watches, as for your style I have no clue but there is a large variety.

Casio Edifice! Elegant, sleek, but attention-giving. From 70 to 250 USD.

(planning to buy a cheaper one :) )

Was it one of the ones in the little clear-plastic case at the counter?

Fossil, Guess, Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic, Diesel, Forever 21 are some of the places I'd look.

Also I suggest getting a seiko

Get a Fossil! Theres this blue one made out of steel, really beautiful and matches a person our age perfectly.

In my experience, never cheap out on a watch. Rather, save up and buy a nicer watch. Even if it's preowned. Rolex or Breitling, unless you want to spend 30+k on an Audemars Piguet or Hublot xD

Just from looking at the wristwatch I have, I believe I have a Timex Ironman (NOT the superhero) watch. It's nothing special.

I agree with those who say Fossil. I have one and I love it. It's not too formal and it always catches a glance and compliment. I love it, it goes with everyhing.

Haha I ended up buying a $350 ESQ Movado. Thank you though! I already had G-shock to begin with so I wasn't sure that would be another option
