I'm not a fan, but that's mostly because her music doesn't really appeal to me. Otherwise I couldn't care less what she does in her life, cause it's all about publicity. And I get that she wants people to forget she was Hannah Montana and see that she grew up, but she's doing a shitty job of showing her maturity.

Honestly, I absolutely love her. I watched Hannah Montana from when I was about 9 and it came out, I have all her albums and love her music and her. I was a bit like 'wtf' when she revealed her short hair and even moreso when she came out with We Can't Stop, but at the end of the day she's just a young woman living her life and practically all of her "sexual imagery" is absolutely no worse than anything that Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani etc. etc. would be praised for. It's just a huge transition from Hannah Montana is all.

Truth be told I do prefer old Miley but I love her now regardless.

Yes, but it's one thing to express yourself through singing stupid songs and looking ridiculous and it's a completely different thing to express yourself by becoming a powerful dictator, assembling a fascist army, invading whole countries, and murdering millions of innocent people.
