A few questions so I can figure out how to help you better
1. How big are the "pimples"?
2. Where on the penis are they located?
3. Do they itch or feel irritated?

It's pretty probable, Tell your parents, Maybe it needs some medic care. Was it your first time?

Pimples aren't always a sign of an STD. But asking a doctor about it won't hurt, and it's not like he'll tell anybody.

If they itch or burn then I would have it checked out, but if they arent bothering you then I would definitely use a condom next time

It depends on whether or not your girlfriend is a virgin. If you know for a fact that your girlfriend is a virgin, then you are all right. However, if she has been with someone else, then you should be checked out.

Did you just start growing pubes? If that's the case, then you might be developing hair.

If you did not do so, then definitely use a condom in the future. Also, when you have sex with someone make sure they're clean and you're clean, too, otherwise it is not worth the risk.

Its quite impossible to tell based on the fact that you have pimples. You sure they are new pr maybe you just didn't notice them before?

Any pain on masturbating? Pain on urinating? Penile discharge?
Are the pimples sore? do they burst (don't try to burst them - just let us know if they burst on their own)?
Any other signs/symptoms you noticed?

Again difficult to tell on a history alone. If you are really worried you should take the following steps:

1) Find out if she has been sexually active before - if so how many sexual partners and whether or not they have known std
2) find out if she is worried about having an std herself - any symptoms?
3) Abstain from sexual contact (even oral sex)
4) Book an appointment with a doctor - believe me it may be embarrassing for you but they have seen it all before and it's better for you to know whether or not you have an std
5) Doctor examines and runs tests (swabs, bloods) and will advise on diagnosis and can provide treatment
6) Buy condoms (and use them)
7) Find out whether prospective future partners are clean before sex - even with condoms there is a risk of passing on stds - condom failure, unprotected oral sex
