Are they moderated or can mods see them? I'm not doing anything bad, I'm just curious :)

Until a certain requirement is met, they will be monitored. Moderators have to approve them. I believe you have to have a certain amount of posts and you must have been a member here for at least three months.

PMs can be looked at by Admins, yes. Usually they aren't unless there is a suspicion that you're up to something, to which they will then be checked. Only requirement to send a PM is that you have 100 posts.

It is only 100 posts, not three months. To have your Visitor messages not moderated you need to have 250 posts and 3 months membership

Actually you can post Personal Messages at any time granted you have 100 posts..I was able to PM in my second day here because I reached 100 posts.

I believe you're thinking about Visitor Messages, not private messaging, in which it's 250 posts & 3 months.

Admins (so not mods) can read Private Messages, yes. However, we don't go searching or looking for fun. They'll only be looked at if we have a good reason to look.
