just wondering, how would one go about getting past a gag reflex when giving oral?

Same way you get past any gag reflex issue. Just relax, and focus on the subject at hand (And REALLY don't think about gagging). Don't do anything that would cause you to gag, such as letting him get too deep and that kind of stuff.

I haven't done any oral sex stuff but I read somewhere squeezing your thumb in side your fist helps for some weird reason :/
