Depends on how you define "Crush". To me and maybe to many of us, it's a type of romantic love. It's definitely not the buddy-buddy love between two str8 dudes. You like his looks, meaning you find him physically appealing. You like his attitude which could be part of why you have emotional feelings for him.

Are you capable of having these same feelings - emotional and physical - for a girl? Be honest with yourself. If you can, then you're bi. If you cannot have these feelings for a girl, there's a strong possibility you could be gay.

You seem to have some judgement on being gay. The way you phrased your question sounded like you wanted the benefit of feeling this crush on this boy, but only if it didn't make you gay. What's so bad about being gay if it turned out you were? I'm NOT saying you are. What I wrote above is the professional definition of being str8, bi of gay. You seem to have a personal investment in not being gay and I'm wondering what's behind that.

Definitely. I have a boy crush on several of my friends. I just find them generally attractive, though I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm in love with them or want to engage in a sexual or romantic relationship. But I still love them about as much as I love my girlfriend. It's toally normal dude. Keep it relaxed and enjoy every moment you can with your "boy crush". ;)
