I like Apple and their premium feeling device, light and pretty simple interface to use. The more metal/glass feel is better than android plastic bodies for most phones.
I like Android since it's pretty dang customizable and also comes in different screen resolutions and sizes, which I like even more.
Both are good Imo.

Android, especially when its a "pure android" like a Nexus you can't beat it. And there's such a huge range of different devices to suit everyone's taste and price range.

Android is better. More flexibility and cheaper with better specs

Well out of the two, Apple. I've been accustomed to iOS and have been using it since it's release in 2007.
I'm starting to consider getting a Windows phone though...

Android BY FAR for me.
I love (most) Apple products, as they win for simple and smooth usability.
But android. my god. They are amazing little pocket computers. Much more technical ability and customizability. I have a Galaxy S3, a 2012 Nexus 7, and a Nexus 5.
The brand new Nexus 5 has really blown a hole in the smartphone market. It is by far the most amazing device I've ever had the privilege to own. It's incredibly fast, and snappy, and can handle plenty of background processes with 2 gigabytes of ram. I am having a hard time pushing this thing to its limit. It just does not lag no matter what I do. And it looks great doing it, with a bright 1920x1080 5in screen. Android 4.4 is the most smooth android experience to date.
I've used almost every apple product, iphones, ipads, pods, etc. And many windows phones.
Nothing comes close to the sheer power and technical ability of the newest generation Android devices.

This is a case of if you spend less, you get less.
You can't compare a $99 plasticy android phone to a ~$600-$1000 iPhone.
If you like the metal/glass sort of feel, check out Nexus 4 or the more recent Nexus 5. I've personally got a 4, amazinggg phone.

Agreed. I have a Note 3 with an Aluminum case, feels nice. Shame Samsung won't push to the premium feeling.
