OK If anyone knows any free software that I can get (or other software which I can *cough* aqquire easily..) For broadcasting my own radio show over the internet, Music + Speech required.
Thanks everyone, I have tried Jetcast but Didn't understand so if anyone is fluent with that could they help me with it. Thanks again
Tim

well thats ur download speed, ur upload speed is only a fraction of that. if u wanted to broadcast music quality to people ud need a t1 line definately. a lot of internet streams are 96 kbs but u cant really get that upload with cable

Ahh Ok So basically I would be able to broadcast to about 5 people at a time or something stupid like that?

it all depends, i get 3.5 mb down but only around 35-40 kilobytes up. which is not sufficient for even 1 listener lol

no. kiloBITS is used for measuring internet speed, but its a useless value and everything else is measured in bytes. music sounds like complete shit anything below 96 kilobytes, and my and your upload only go around 35-40 kbs. the highest teamspeak speex codec of 29.2 or whichever sounds like complete SHIT for music, like i said 96 or else
