things are getting boring with this girl

there is this girl I like (just asked her to the winter dance and she said yes) thing is that when we meet at school or something we dont know what to say. we were not always like this. we talk sometime about this show she likes called vampire diaries and its spinoff. My question is, how can i spark things back up with her? get us talking again? we both are in cross country and see each other everyday (we carpool) and the dance is on the 25th.

Maybe you two just don't have chemistry. I know, i know, i, too, made a face about that cliche word. But if it isn't there, it isn't there. From what you've said, there may have never been a spark. Being attracted to someone doesn't necessarily require having an emotional attraction to them, if you get what I'm saying. Apparently having cross country in common isn't cutting it. At this rate you'll tire of each others company, which will inevitably lead to unhappiness. It could also very well be nerves. But i think you should just talk, simple as that. If you don't click, then you can still be friends but a strong relationship will never form from "non-clickers".
