Do you wear shorts under your skirts and dresses?

Do you always wear shorts underneath or only under certain skirts/dresses or at certain times/events only?

What kind of shorts are they (eg. spandex) and how long are they?

Where did you get them from?

Why do you wear them and if not why not?

I always wear black spandex shorts under mine. They have about a 4" inseam so they are nice and short and don't poke out below my skirts.

I brought mine from Forever 21 and American Apparel. I love the black nylon/elastane spandex shorts from AA the most as they are the most comfortable and love the high waisted feel on them..

I just like feel securely covered so I can be comfortable and confident in my dress or skirt without having to worry about someone seeing my underwear.

Why would someone wear shorts under a skirt/dress? I don't get it. If you don't feel comfortable in a skirt, then just wear shorts or pants.

I like wearing skirts/dresess because they look good and they are comfortable with shorts underneath so I get to wear a skirt/dress without the downfalls of it would normally have lol. If that makes sense :p

Nope, I've never done that. When I wear skirts and dresses, I like the ease of access (for practical reasons), rather thank making things more difficult.

Good point for not wearing them. For me though I would rather make those things a touch harder just so I can feel more comfortable.

Never even considered it... I kinda like the freedom you feel when wearing a dress/skirt, so why'd I want to take that away, I don't know...

If you like the freedom go for it, I just feel naked without them so I guess I don't like the feeling of freedom you get from not wearing shorts.

If you know how to move in a dress, people should never see your underwear. I would say the same about skirts, but accidents do happen sometimes. The shorter the skirt, the more chance of an accident. If you're really that paranoid about people seeing, maybe you should just wear pants?

Plus, the problem with wear spandex or shorts is that sometimes people mistake that for your underwear as well.

I'd love to but I don't have any. I don't wear skirts on a daily basis (My parents forced me to only wear knee length or longer skirts for the first 12 years of my life, so I kind of hate skirts now), and so I wear them for only formal occasions and wear nylon tights with them.
