Do you feel the want/need to be in a relationship?

This is generally for a bit older kids around 16 and up. But anyone's welcome to answer. But do you feel that you want to get into a relationship or that you want it more then you used to when you were younger?

And are you finding yourself wanting it more and more as time goes on?

For me, I'm 17. But when i was 15 i didn't really want one, wasn't into dating and all. But when i hit 16 i kinda thought it would be nice. Now that I'm 17 I just feel like taking girls on dates, snuggling, hanging out and talking etc. I'm finding myself wanting to get into a relationship as i'm getting older. So are you the same?

It's not a need really, but I do feel the desire for that connection growing as I get older. I used to have no desire to be in a relationship, but now I feel like I wouldn't mind it, I might even enjoy it.

I gotta say I'm a bit different-since I was 14 I've wanted a relationship and even had one for a while. Course she wasn't such a good choice to have a relationship with, I know that now, but it was nice. And romantic. I miss her :(

I'm 17 and yes it would be nice to have a guy to call my own just to cuddle with and be all romantic and cute with, but alas it shall not happen.

Oh yeah, all the time. It's not necessarily a need for me as I am more than happy being single, but it's definitely something that I want and crave.

I will say, though, that the older I get, the more my ideas, wants, and needs when it comes to relationships have changed. I noticed that a few years ago when I was younger (and I notice this with most people who are in their early teens), I wanted a relationship simply to have one. I wanted one so I could have someone to call mine, someone to cuddle with, someone to be romantic with. However, the older I get, the more that changes. Do I want those things? Definitely. But now, it's more about connection. I crave that connection you have with someone when you are in a relationship with them.

So yeah, the older I get, the more I want a relationship. I can be single and be happy, but I definitely am looking forward to having a relationship and being able to connect with someone on a whole new level.

Honestly, i could say yes but thats only if i found someone like me, but for the time being there is no-one.
I just don't think about it much, and like most people said its not a "need" to me also.

I mean having one would be cool and everything, but it isn't (and shouldn't be) a #1 priority for me since I still have lots of things to do/take care of before I actually start seeking one seriously.

Yeah quite a bit as I've gotten older, I see my friends in relationships and wonder 'why can't I have one'? It sucks but I know I just have to be patient until I finish school and go to uni. There's not much opportunity for finding girlfriends where I live.

I'm in a relationship.. But there shouldn't be a total need or want.. It happens when it happens
