better chat room

ok what im saying is that may get a better chat room because its hard to get on to it and most people want to just go on to it like the one at gov teen so if the javer is needed for the coding or some thing don't worry but if not I beg try to get a new better one

Who do you expect to pay for that? Mike or Val? It's not fair to expect the admins to pay for a new chat room when most people are okay with the one that's there now.

he is right. that was great if you could use sth like flash for the chatroom .well then , it would be possible for us to join chatroom from android or ios easily :)

At the moment, it's safe to say that we are keeping the chat we have now. We've been using addonchat for a while now, and it works for the purposes of VT. There are reasons we don't have a mobile version, and it's likely that we wouldn't have one with a different chat either.

Even IF we were to theoretically change, it wouldn't be for months until the subscription to the one we have now expires.

We had flash chat, it crashed the site. We're not getting that back :P I also really don't like IRC, addonchat is a much better chat client than most out there.

Its also the most secure option. Admins have access to the chat logs so they can keep an eye on the chat and ensure safety of the members.

My only problem with addonchat is that it isn't compadable with screen readers. If it worked on mobiles, I could use it...
