Who the hell needs a PS4?

Upon the launch of the "Next gen, now current gen" consoles. I immediately thought "Well, there going to be shit till they actually release the OS properly". And I then got thinking about my PS3 with its HUGE amounts of software updates, I mean they where updating that thing right till the bitter end. And then I thought about my old PS2, my beloved PS2.
So naturally I wanted to play it, so I went console grave digging and managed to find my beloved device sitting under a pile of paper in the garage. Unfortunately it was only the console itself I found, not the cables or anything else. Until next month I shall be in the process of resurrecting it with bits I can steal from other things and so on.

So, after that huge explanation I owe you a question dont I? Well it shall be a dull generic one you have answered a million times.

What where the best PS2 games, I should point out, I prefer FPS and Shooters. Also some puzzle games are nice, go nuts! :cool:

I skipped last gen and up till this last Christmas, my only non-handhelds were the GC and the PS2 (although my family has a Wii but that one doesn't specifically belong to me).

I hate FPS so we're opposite on that. Nothing like a good RPG for me. I explicitly bought the PS2 for Square Enix games. I played a lot of DDR too, but Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are the sole reason the PS2 made my Christmas wishlist ten years ago. And again, probably the deciding factor to not skip this gen as well, cause then I'd be missing KH3 although I missed BbS too last gen.

PC master race. Although I would like to get that PS 1 I used to play with my cousin. Crash Racing (that little Crash Bandicoot fox thingy and other characters driving tiny cars), a bit of some James Bond, GTA 2 (police can actually kill you) and many others I forgot to mention.

I like how everyone avoided the what are the best PS2 games question. :P The best games of that beloved console were in my educated opinion Castlevania Lament of Innocence, Black, Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, and Zone of the Enders 2.

And yeah screw next-now-current-gen, I don't like it nor do I want it.

I agree with PC but still nice to dig out ol;d consoles every now and then :)

I have a PS4 but that's because my mum bought it without me asking and I didn't want it until more games were available...

But it's worth it anyway because you can listen to what you're watching at night with headphones in :D this is my only input.
