I never understand why people think they absolutely NEED to be in a relationship. I guess i can't really talk since i am in one, but i always see singles who act like the world will end if they don't get in a relationship. I always believed that a relationship will come at the right time if you wait for it and take the opportunities. Today i feel like people rush into relationships and end up going with a wrong person.

The questions are, what are your thoughts on that, are you in a relationship, and why do people feel that a relationship is completely needed or needs to be rushed into?

Oh and sorry in advance if this post should be somewhere else

I am in a relationship, and i agree, I would rather not be in one rather that rush into one with the wrong person just to be in a "relationship"

Humans desire that connection. Sometimes we just get desperate and feel like we have to take the first chance that comes around, or we run the risk of one never coming around again.

I've been there, and I've made the mistake of running into a relationship 'just because.' A mistake, indeed, and I haven't done it since. Now I'm content to just wait.

Human nature to find someone to be in a relationship with, psychologically and emotionally we basically need a companion of sorts and that need surges during puberty with all the hormones.

Now that I think about myself, I want to be in be mainly for the intimacy rather than for the deep connection, serious type of relationship. I understand that those come together but I don't want to take on the burden of being in a serious relationship, I sound bad but I can say that's what a lot of people will be thinking

I was like that for most of my life, then once I stopped, a few came. And I'm in one now, which was also very unexpected to ever happen again
