I was just wondering if their is an "age limit" to using this site? I have noticed a lot of members, some are excellent posters with thousands of contributions, have been banned, usually they are in their early 20's. Is this the reason?

No. As long as you join between 13-19, you can stay as long as you'd like.

You can pretty much stay for as long as you want, just so long as you continue to behave in an appropriate manner on the board

In theory no, but in practice I have certainly seen it done (though not with that directly as a reason).

From the FAQ

Members who registered while they were a teenager are welcome to stay past the age of 19, assuming they continue to behave in an appropriate manner on the forums.

Those older banned members with a lot of posts are banned for good reasons, not because they got too old :P

Like the FAQ says, as long as you can behave appropriately, you're welcome to stay passed 19. At a certain point it does start to become a little inappropriate though.

You can only register if you 13-19, but if you registered within this period, you can stay on as long as you continue to help out and make quality posts
