Recently today I saw the new movie called "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins"

This movie touches on how being away from family can make you feel a little strange. It also has the view of family is what really matters in life.

Dr. RJ Stevens is a very famous TV personality who has recently decided to engage the recent Survivor winner. When he goes back down to Georgia to see his family after 9 years he has noticed that things have changed.

His mama is a very loving person and is always concerned for her children but in a way fails to see how Roscoe has succeeded in his life. His dad is played by the great Lames Earl Jones who played in movies such as "The Lion King" and "Coming to America". Of course Roscoe's father always saw success in his other children.

Roscoe's brother who is a car salesman has made his father proud. But really he is not Roscoe's brother but is adopted and Roscoe finds it stupid that he got better treatment than he did. So throughout the whole movie he is fighting for his father's affection and his previous crush:rolleyes:

Roscoe challenges his "brother" to the annual Jenkins famil obsticle course and Roscoe wins but his son joined in the race. And when his son came to the wall with the rope, he couldn't climb it so Rosecoe goes to help but his soon-to-be-wife tells him to leave his son behind and Roscoe leaves him.

At the end of the race Roscoe's son is disappointed in his father's actions. His father of course is very angry. Roscoe tell his father the reason he doesn't visit is because his father never gave him affection and that he was dead to him.

But in the end he reaches terms with his father and brings back a relationship stronger than he could have thought. So all in all it was a great movie. If you are a Martin Lawrence fan you will love this great piece of movie greatness.

That concludes my review of "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins"
