I was having a conversation with my best friend, and I can't remember what the subject was exactly, but this is what he said:

"I think that you are great in many ways, but that you think very low of yourself. I think that you have a low selfsteem, even tho you are always smiling
and that you could tho a lot better if only you could learn to trust yourself and to motivate yourself"

I'm not sure how I should feel about that. Right now, if i'm honest, I feel a little disturbed, because I think maybe he was right.... I didnt think I felt like that beforehand, but now I dont know what i think..... can someone give me an opinion or....something?

A best friend always sees things no one else does, especially your own self.
and I think the first thing a bf will notice is being down on yourself in
any way and always sees the very best in you.
So i would say to take his advice to heart, but not be troubled by it.

Take his advice, just keep smiling, but remember to do it on the inside as well as outside. Ever seen the movie Nemo? Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.
Just don't be too worried about it.

Take his advice! My bf has told me almost exactly the same thing a few times. Kinda pissed me off at first, but then I noticed he was right.

I finally realized that he saw what I could not see, and that he must care for me to tell me what he saw, even when he was afraid it would ruin our friendship. Once I saw that he was right, it has made our friendship so much stronger.
