People Keep Telling Me I'm Awkward

I'm so annoyed right now, first my best friend and now some other kid in the same class have both in the last couple of days told me I'm awkward and just basically made fun of me. Not even sure what to do but it's really getting me down. I know I'm awkward, it's bad enough that I eat and do everything at school mostly alone. Now they are throwing my problem in my face...

Don't worry, you are not alone. People tell me I'm awkward all the time. So much, in fact, that I have mastered the ability to rewire my entire mind so any awkward, weird, freaky, or strange comment on me, I take as a conpliment. Such is my imaginative power combined with my innate weirdness ;)

Some of my closest friends I've known for 7+ years and they tell me I'm super awkward at times. It's no problem. There's plenty of people who are awkward. The more self concious you are about your awkwardness, the more awkward you come across as to other people, so just work with what you've got.

Ya I guess it's better than being what those two people who made fun of me are... One even though he is my friend he isn't exactly the coolest or even most motivated person in our school by far. The other is some wannabe hot shot football jock who is condescending towards life, probably a typical alcoholic to fit in with the party scene too. Guess I would take being an awkward kid anyday over what those two are, especially since I know with a little practice I can get better and become more social. Quitting WoW will probably help too...
