I have thought about suicide at random times for no reason but when I do I start to feel like I'm also feeling claustrophobic and I need to breath but I won't ever commit suicide because I like life.

It's common but it's not normal. Everyone thinks about dying and violent things. But it shouldn't interfere with regular thoughts like eating. If it dominates your thoughts, contact a professional.

Beforehand, I believe this thread is in the wrong forum. With that aside, Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And if you do it, it will make the lives of the people who know and care about you much worse than whatever reason you decided to end your life with. Yeah, sure, the sun still shines. Time still moves forward. But think about how doing something like that will effect those who love you. If you do have serious feelings like that, of killing yourself, I'd talk to a doctor or psychiatrist or somebody immediately. Hell, even your parents or siblings or friends. I had a friend that shot herself a few years ago, and I can guarantee I will never feel as terrible as I did in the weeks after I found out for a very long time, if ever again. Trust me, it's not worth it to end your pain by causing much greater torment to so many others. You've got your whole life ahead of you, live it.

I think it is common to think the effects suicide could have on your life and the ones you love. Now actually contemplating it, that isn't so healthy. There is nothing wrong with having this epiphany that you can essentially tap the "off" switch on your life at any point in time. I think that is fairly normal. I've thought about it myself before. Contemplating actually doing it or hovering over this same subject in your mind incessantly, that can be a bit of a problem. I'm not going to lecture you, because lecturing is for squares. But I will say this, your life is yours. And yours only. You should cherish every second of it because you don't know when the "controller" will be ripped from your hands and that's the end of your timeline. Right now, as a teenager, this is such a miniscule fragment of your life. Whatever it is that is fueling these thoughts, that will likely diminish in the years to come. If you don't want to talk to a nerdy parent or doctor, don't. Talking in general, however, helps. Whatever it is you've stashed away, bottled up, tried to forget about, let it out and see where that takes you. If these are just fleeting thoughts, sweet. Let them skedaddle out of your life and carry on. If they start to disturb you to the point that contemplation or suicidal thoughts are a daily occurrence, you should see a doc. They aren't as evil as they let on. And sometimes they are even nice. Weird, right?
Anywhoozer, Dude, suicide is the guarantee that your problems will never EVER get better. I'm always here if ya need to chat.

I have, its common for me. When I get it I just do anything I can to take my mind of it. Always remember that its a perm fix for a problem that can be solved in the long run.

Yeah I do all the time. Sometimes it just happens like when you're at the bus stop thinking about how you could just step into the road and other times when I feel so much self hatred I just think up every way I could kill myself off. Even if I'm not actively suicidal it's always in my mind urging me towards it.
