Ok so Ive only ever cut once before and i swore that i wouldnt do it again, but i feel like ive hit another tip point. today school was shit, my art teacher told me that my pottery project that i worked hard on was a D grade at best. then this "friend" told a pretty sick joke about dead mothers, and i said its not cool to say that because of mine being dead, to which he called me a whiney bitch who cant take a joke. then i came online and now general online shit is getting to me. And now, I feel like a depressing dumbass for posting this...does anyone have any advice, help? sorry for whining

now i hate when they do that , you do so much on something in school and gives you a shitty grade for that(you have to deal with this one better luck next time) and it gets to me when someone talks crap about my dad because hes dead too if someone talks about it but take and when you get home hit something hard but on something soft that way you dont hurt yourself

if you want to cut then you should just do it, but to be honest in my opinion you're day wasn't really bad at all, people say stupid things all the time and who cares about a art grade lol

I'm sorry but it's the truth people go through way much worse things on a day to day basis, you're day just sounds like a regular day in school

For real? Don't even go there.
Just because someone's problems may seem less to you, doesn't change how they feel about it. Don't comment unless you have something worth saying because this is a matter that you can't run your mouth about.

I know it's not all rainbows and butterflies, iv'e had much worse days. All I said was that today was a tipping point. Usually the point of these posts is to make people feel better, not to tell them that they're basicly just whining

Well you know cutting is a coping mechanism.
So the thing to do find other coping mechanisms.
other means of escape to put the day behind you.
These forums help (minus the occasional dingleberry)
thats prolly why i'm on them so much.
That really sucks with the pottery.
I guess working hard at something doesn't count for as much as it should.

It seems that you haven't fully grasped the meaning of go away. We even said please. If you want less "over reactive" people you might want to try another section of the forums. Good day sir.
