What do you have to wear to wrestle? Do you have to wear a jockstrap?

so, i wrestle and here is what i wear.

At practice: boxer brief, Work out shorts, work out t-shirt, wrestling shoes, and sometimes headgear.

during a tournament or dual meet: Compression shorts, interesting shoes, singlet, head gear, and warm up sweats.


I personally do not use a jockstrap, nor do you have to wear one. i have spoken to other wrestlers. some use compression shorts, others use jockstraps, and some don't use anything at all. and most don't even use cups.

I have another question.How would you hide a boner in a singlet?

99% chance you wo't even ahve one when you are wreslting. before and after your match you have your sweats on, which hide it. if you do have one, the match will be stopped if the ref sees it. otherwise, just tuck it in your waist band.
