So I had this pimple right on my chin, and it was starting to bother me, I used acne wash, and everything, but it wouldn't go away. So, I was scratching at it, and picking at it. Now I'm left with this ugly scar on my chin. What should I do for it?

Well like you, I was getting loads of spots and all acne wash didnt work...so if you go to the doctors he/she can prescribe a stronger wash which will probably help

well the scar thing..it sounds like you will be stuck with it...is it healed or is it like still all red etc.?

It's pretty red, and so itchy.

The scar could fade or you could go in for a scar removal procedure like dermabrasion if you get that many of them.

Well I used to have a habit of picking spots, its best not to because the liquid inside when you pop it will spread around that area and cause more spots.

It'll go away just don't mess with it no matter how tempting it is I use to pick at my pimples all of the time and they left a hefty amount of scars but now their all gone

See a dermatologist if over the counter products don't work for you. I've found that the prescription cream I use, Benzaclin, works miracles as long as you don't skip it very often (that's when the zits start to come back, haha), and it works better than any over the counter product I've tried (which isn't saying much, all of em either didn't work or gave me a rash). Forget ordering Proactiv or any other thing off of the TV, just see a dermatologist and they can give you something that's best for your type of acne and your skin type.

Yeah. I've never used it, but I've heard horror stories about bad reactions, and of spending tons of money on it for no results. One of my friends used it and it actually made her acne worse!
