Girls and dating bad ass guys

This question is for mostly girls...Why do you like dating guys that are bad ass's and end up treating you like crap? Are there girls out there that actually like dating nice guys? I know so many girls that I have as friends and that dated guys like that, and they totally got used and abused, wtf? then they come crying to me and I'm thinking if you just hung with me...

I think there are actually lots of various reasons why some girls date jerks instead of nice guys. They may think that a nice guy has no challenge or is too nice that can only be a friend. Girls like to date confident, positive and dominant guys. Needless to say, these qualities are possessed by assholes. They are also seen by everyone as cool, attractive and popular so girls would like it if they can date someone that they can be proud of enough.

Girls go to date with anyone even jerks because they want to feel good and comfort about themselves. It's wouldn't be really nice if they had a boyfriend who is a flighty nervous wuss. Another reason is also bad ass guys are the ones who make the move. They are excellent in making the girl believe that they're into them. they trick girls that they are sweet guys by being adorable and fun loving-- which is just a load of crap. or It's just maybe the girl doesn't know how to be treated right.

In some situations it is just because jerks just outweigh nice guys which is more likely from my personal experience. I didn't really care if he has that that kind of reputation. He never abused or used me, but at the end it seems like he just only wants one thing, I don't know, things are still not clear to me.

Sure not all girls date them. It depends where you at and what kind of people you live with, I really don't know if majority of girls date badass guys.

well if the girl likes the boy she should hang out with him and his friends to see what there like but if she is so confident and jumps straight in it her fault if he's a dick and treats her like crap and some nice guys may were glasses or have a speech impediment it don't matter what they look like the personality is all that matters who wants a person that's so fit but hits u

I love nice guys.. Badass guys have never been my style because 1. I'm too independent for a guy to be controlling me. 2. I read too many Nicholas Sparks novels. 3. I am also too insecure and moody for a guy to be treating me like shit. 4. I'd rather date someone dorky and sweet that can teach me the value of life.

All very good points :) I would also say that unfortunately, the guys who are assholes are usually the really popular ones, so of course girls are going to want to date a popular guy....but thats just my guess :L

Yeah it's kinda like that. I got turned down because she thought we were only good as friends. I was pissed but I realized that there will be that girl who appreciates me and will want to date me.

Pretty much the same for me.

Id rather date a nice guy who treats me right and who I truly love, than a "badass" guy who just wants me to hang off his arm like some sort of charm.

It's more of the "badass" guy projecting confidence,which usually would get most girls attention. That's the reason why it usually leads on to a relationship to find out that he's a jerk overall.

In all honesty though,it's also bad to be too nice. Bring your badassness into play at the right times. Speak with confidence,and make sure you know your shit. Be decisive,(not full of yourself),and just treat your girl like a gem. And really,just show respect all-round. That's all it is to it man,lol.
