Im typing this up for my brother(16).

I=my brother

Today I was at my best friends girlfriend's house chilling because we are all good friends. After a while we went to the kitchen because we were hungry, while making some food I make a remark saying how her sister is taller than her. (the sister is actually 13 while she is 16). We continue talking all 4 of us and I occasionally glance at her sister who for some reason is staring at me. I ignore it and continue with the flow. After a while we go to my best friends house because we got bored at her house. I say to my best friends girlfriend " you sister is quite attractive" because she was and our conversations are completely open and every topic is fair game. More time passes and during the middle of a conversation the girlfriend blurts out "my sister thinks you are hot". I call her a liar but she shows me the text conversation she was having it went "hey, where are you?""hanging out with (my name) and (my bestfriends name).""Is (my name) the hottie?""*insert picture of me for clarification*""yea (heart eyes emoji)" I laugh and smile and continue our conversation.

Question: Is it okay for a 16 year old to date a 13 year old?

It probably depends on the parents. As long as you can prove that you're a good guy I'm sure there won't be a problem

You've got to try different things to find out what works for you. I say give it a shot. At least you'll learn how you deal with whatever criticism comes.

a difference of 3 years seems like a lot since she is just 13 (18-15 would be way more normal). but if shes mature enough then i guess its ok.

This, and if the parents are ok with it. Especially if the parents are ok with it.
