I don't know about the rest of you people, but I have exams coming up near the end of the month, and this one is my first one EVAR :S I don't get it. Is it just a giant test on everything you've learned this year? Because if so, I'm gonna fail pretty goddamn hard :l Could somebody explain in extreme detail what the hell these mysterious (said to be) stress-inducing tests are? Thanks o3o

Exams aren't overly difficult if you put the time and effort into revising for them: you'd have been best beginning to look over all of our things before now, however, cramming an entire years work into a month can put you into a bit of a pickle. Unless you have some kind of odd exams, the global standard is for it to be end of year exams that are on everything you've done - otherwise, they're really just tests. If you're unsure about what you need to do, just go and see a teacher: they're their to help you and they'll be more than happy to explain. From the lack of knowledge you've been given about your exams though, they may just be tests: I'd be extremely shocked if your teachers haven't given you all the information already if they are the full exams.
Across the sea here in Scotland our teachers run extra out-of-school time revision classes, offer extra tuition and spend the entire of January preparing us for our Preliminary Exams then our full ones are in May, so I'm in the same situation as you! Best of luck with your exams, tests, whatever - get your head done, revise, revise, revise, study, study, study and you'll be fine. Don't get stressed about them: if you put the work in, there's no need to be stressed. Just don't slack on them, as 'dorky', 'swatty' or 'geeky' as it might sound, they're important for you to do well in, so make sure you do!

They are just to see if the teacher has been teaching you correctly and to give you guidance on how to improve.
