I guess it does to some extent. My favorite song is A Warrior's Call by Volbeat and the song is very powerful and that's why I like it, its fast, upbeat and it makes me feel powerful

I guess you can say it does to someone that knows me. it'll tell them what kinda mood I'm in. I really don't have a favorite song because it depends on my mood what song(s) I listen to.

It all really depend on the person. Someone such as myself, who has a deep connection and passion for music, my music says everything about me. If you're just a casual listener, it still can say something, but it doesn't always.
I don't have a favorite song, or even a favorite artist. Some of my favorites are…
SlipKnoT
Stone Sour
Avenged Sevenfold
Five Finger Death Punch
Apocalyptica
Alice in Chains
Nirvana
VolBeat
Rage Against The Machine
Audioslave
Soundgarden
Sevendust
Mudvayne
and so on...

I guess my music says something about me. My favourite song is "Broken Angel" by Boyce Avenue.

i have 2 favorite songs:
name - the goo goo dolls
- it's been my favorite song my entire life. the meaning of the song to me is basically trying to find yourself. "now we've grown up orphans that never knew their names", we grow up and don't know who we are, but we gotta find that eventually. and you're kinda surrounded by these people that will help you find your name "i won't tell them your name". to me it's going to do what you feel like you need to do, even if you have to sacrifice things in your life that have always been there and mean the world to you. - i'm not sure if that's the original meaning, but that's what it means to me.
run for your life - the fray
- i basically cry every time i hear this song. i listen to the lyrics and it says "we're sisters with nothing between, if one of us falls the other will soon be following", so there's two best friends, or two sisters - they're really close. if one of them falls, the other will fall with them in order to help them back up. "both of you fell the same day, you don't know why, one of you never woke up and you lay your body down on the floor, desperate to hear her footsteps again but this house is one fire, you need to go." basically both of them "fall" the same day, but one of them never gets back up, so i'm assuming she committed suicide (especially because the fray kinda writes a lot of material involving suicide..."how to save a life" screams suicide). the other girl is waiting for her to get back up, but she obviously can't. all this girl wants to hear is her best friend's footsteps again, but she won't. then the "house is on fire" part, she's forced to leave, something pushes her away - and that's just the first verse. i could go on forever. but yeah.
i can easily relate to both of these songs.
I guess my music says something about me. My favourite song is "Broken Angel" by Boyce Avenue.
