There are so many different ways to come out and you need to find the one that's right for you. When I came out, I used so many different methods to do so. With my friends I just told them, however, with my family I wrote a letter to them explaining everything and how I felt. It depends on the closeness of the parental relationship too, plus how accepting they are with things like this in general. It's usually best to try and see what their opinion on sexuality, that way you know if it's actually okay to come out. If your parents are the accepting type, I'd honestly just sit them down or whatever you're comfortable with and telling them that way. If they aren't that accepting, a letter works in this situation. You just have to prepare yourself for the worst and if the worst doesn't happen, congratulations.

Hi there Ainsley! Before coming out to parents or a legal guardian my best advice is to make sure you are in a safe place, and know your parents views on the matter. It's not uncommon to get kicked out your home for being bisexual or homosexual so i want you to be safe and accepted. :) If you think you are in a safe environment to come out, i would sit your parents down and tell them you have something important to tell them. I would tell them you are bisexual, and probably list some reasons because i'm sure they might be confused that you brought it up all of the sudden. :) It's important to stay positive and stay who you are and don't let anyone else say otherwise, including parents! I wish you luck!

It's great that you have accepted who you are! If you don't feel comfortable with telling someone face to face that you are bisexual, then you can write them a letter. That's probably the easiest way. Good luck! :)
