He could be a good doctor but he's much to old to hav that charm that holds in the audience like david tennant or matt smith they got that charm that makes the audience sad, happy, amd
Makes them laugh. I dont think the new doctor will have that because
He's too old and there wont be any teenage girls who just want to rip off his clothes. See what im saying?

He's going to be wonderful. I already like Peter. Like every doctor before him, he's going to brings something new and wonderful to the show.

My favorites are pretty much any Christmas specials, regenerations, or the 50th, which was way cool.

Favorite enemy: Weeping angels

Favorite Doctor: Tom Baker or David Tennet.

Favorite Companion: Donna Noble and Clara Oswald.

The doctor doesn't need to be young to have charm, think of Jon Pertwee from Classic Who, he was retentively old in comparison with the other actors and he is one of the favourites. To be honest, if people stop watching the show just because of his age, they weren't proper Whovians to start off with.

Weeping angels are the best... Well come to think of it there the best well... Because of their affect on time and you know how it is its a wibbly wobbly timey wimey thing

So I'm guessing you are a NewWho fan ? If you watched the older episodes, you would know that the Doctor doesnt need to be young or even particularly attractive, Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton and Jon Perwee were all in Capaldi's age range and they are possibly the most widely loved Doctors ever. And how does "teenage girls wanting to rip his clothes off" Make the show any better? Those type of people arent Whovians, theyre girls with crushes. Any real Whovian doesnt watch just for the Doctor appearance. They watch for the substance of the show. And the Doctor doesnt need to have "charm", Plenty of Doc's have been outright blunt assholes at times, nd still been Great Doctors. the main thing that annoys me about the Newer Series is the fans who call themselves whovians but really arent. Theyre Newvians.

I agree :) I think it's good for a show to play around with different concepts and ideas, but I think the time is well overdue for a more serious tone in the show, and i think Capaldi will deliver the goods :D
