Ok so everyone knows that a guy with a more feminine voice is PROBABLY gay (not saying they all are). So I just was curious to know if guys with "gay" voices can control it or not. Sorry if this is offensive to anyone, and I know that ALOT of gay people have very manly voices!

I'm gay and I do have quite a feminine voice but when I'm around straight males I do tend to act more "butch" as it were. But even when I'm around them and I get excied over something I become more feminine. I wouldn't say I've got that much of a feminine voice though.

I'm somewhat bisexual - or something like that - and have loose wrists and some of the lot. I'm generally in control of my voice though. I have always been told I have a very deep and "sturdy" sound. That being said, I can do the most flamboyant gay voice impression in the whole kingdom. My friends literally get scared when I do it! :D

I have a very high voice, and am interested in some "feminine" activities (dancing and choir)... I'm sure there are many arguments and counterarguments for the validity of this stereotype.

I certainly can! When i'm with my good friends and people i know well, my gay voice goes flying. But when i'm around people i don't know very well i sound normal, unfortunately because i feel nervous to be myself. :)

My goof friends know my many voices. I change at random intervals with them and the pitch goes everywhere depending on my mood. I wouldnt say i have a very feminine voice but i definitely can at times

Sometimes its hard to control the way you want your voice to come out.... But if you try hard enough, you can make it sound however you want

I used to have a very high-pitched voice, and some people called me gay because of that. Now I think my voice is more manly, but still it can sound a bit gay when I get excited or angry.

My voice is very like gay around my closest friends, but when I'm around people I don't know I sound less gay. Cos I too, ashamed to me myself around strangers :/

Apparently I have quite a camp voice and way of speaking, but I don't believe the people who tell me that :P

Most people in my year have that kind of voice, most of those aren't out and a lot have girlfriends. As much as I hate it, I really don't think it's a reliable means of telling if someone is gay or not anymore

My voice used to sound like the stereotypical gay and of course the ignoramouses of my school assumed that I was gay based of that simple fact. Now it has gotten deeper and doesn't get high pitched as much anymore. I still sound really weird in videos though.

My autism wins out over being gay on this.
I have a stereotypical flat and monotone autie voice.

I think sometimes its due to taking on a "gay culture" but i don't think i can control it at least not when i get excited. It gets exhausting and depressing to not be yourself. This is my 3rd school and if its not my voice giving it away its the hands, how i walk, looking at guys. So i just stopped trying.

I'm bisexual, but i can speak in a feminine voice, and sometimes i do 'hand actions' as such.

Yea I have some gay friends when there around us ( there friends )
Their voices are the high type but when were out with random people they get quiet or deepen there voices at that point u ask why they do it and I get the insecure answer and I tell them it's ok to ack normal around others more when there with there friends

I definitely wouldn't say that I have a "deep" voice nor do I have a "gay" or high pitched voice. I'm right in the middle of the spectrum.
