is there a cure for Phimosis on the NHS in the UK?

I think the NHS will do it IF it is causing a problem - as they do have a page about it on NHS Choices. You can always go and see your GP and see what he/she says!!

I was on the NHS website about it 10 minutes ago and they said nothing about a cure, I went to my GP last year and he said there is nothing they can do apart from circumcision but I've saw on other websites that there is a steroid cream thing you can get or a stretching mechanism type thing, so I was wondering why the NHS wouldn't have that as it is one of the best health cares in the world!

What you can do is perform stretching exercises on your foreskin to 'loosen' it up. Pretty much I was like you unable to retract my foreskin fully without discomfort. There are sites that show you what techniques to use but I won't post it since its against the forum rules. But what I can tell you is that you need to take your time with this and its much easier to do it in the bath or shower.

Okay I understand that, but mines is REALLY bad, like the size of the hole where your glans is supposed to be slid through is slightly bigger than my pee hole. I thought the stretching exercise wouldn't work because of this so I gave up on it a long time ago without really trying it out properly.

I would have thought that the GP would have at least given you some advice on streching techniques. Maybe try to either see a different doctor? Or contact a specialist directly??

I've heard circumcision reduces pleasure and I do not want that lol. Surely there has to be another way around it!
