I have been wondering this for quite some time, and I just wanted to know what some of you think about this.

Nostalgia reminds us of the past. It keeps us clinging to our own traditions which might be beneficial, but is it a healthy feeling for our mental well-being? It reminds us of who we truly are and who we used to be and makes us feel good or bad. It could even answer the question 'Who are we?'

So what do you believe is true?

Nostalgia is beautiful until it turns into longing.

Nostalgia is healthy but ofcourse you can't overdo it, you have to live in the moment while enjoying nostaligc memories from the past...
Like watching a show you used to watch when you were really little.

This.
Nostalgia is a great thing, until it turns into an obsession. Like most things.

Yeah essentially what I was going to say. You shouldn't let nostalgia how you act and view yourself now

I agree 100% with all of these answers. Nostalgia is what we feel when we remember something memorable from our past, but you can't let that feeling overwhelm you.

Exactly. Remembering things too much can lead to you feeling depressed about it. But it's still healthy and normal to feel nostalgic, but to an extent.
