Evanescence!

I have noticed a couple of people on here like the band 'Evanescence'. I didn't think many people did... I love the band so much as they have helped me through so much! Their first song I ever listened to was 'My Immortal' I instantly fell in love with it and every time I am upset it's the first song I listen to. The lyrics are so meaningful and the way Amy Lee sings it it brings out the emotion in me. It's like she sings what I feel. What's your opinion on the band?

Evanescence is great.
I'm trying to get my hands on all their albums on CD so I can rip them as Flacs.
I just wish they used slightly more realistic sounding instrument effects and sounds.
The songs are great though :)

They are all awesome and meaningful songs. But also her little sis Bonnie died when she was just 6. Evanescences' songs "like You" and "Hello" are about Bonnie. She does not play them live because she doesn't want to break down in the middle of a show.

Amy Lee is my hero and my inspiration! They are an amazing band but without Amy Lee they would be nothing.

Great band, Amy Lee's voice is amazing and can hit some serious notes, on another note Halestorm is also amazing with Izzy Hale

I kinda like them, but I have to say I don't think Amy Lee is great live. There are a few live performances that are okay, but most of the time her voice sounds really weak in my opinion. Quite sad because I like the way they sound on record.
My favourite songs are Whisper, Imaginary and All That I'm Living For.

I love their songs....they hold a lot of meaning. My favorite is "Bring me to life".

I love them too. The first song I heard was Bring Me To Life.
Sadly I can't say I love there latest album. But the older ones absolutey.
