im 14 rite and im gay but i cant tell anyone cuz they will laugh but ive got a gay friend and he is 13 and he get a load of stick but i want to tell everyone so plaese help

I came out very slowly, and once I got more compfortable, I started telling people. Just make sure the person you tell you trust very much, and only tell that one person so that if it gets out, you know whos ass to kick. I hope Ive helped

If you don't want to come out, wait until college. By then people actually cop-on and realise how immature they are, and generally accept others' sexual orientation. There is never any hurry.

As for your friend, let a teacher or councellor know. They could help with the prejudical-bullying.

Well, if you're uncomfortable with it then just wait it out. Since you already know that you are gay then yes wait a while if you think you're family and friends would be uncomfortable.

So I would agree that you should wait until a reasonable time.

People are going to talk about you no matter what and if you let fear keep you from happiness then your letting them win I'm not saying come out to everyone just a few people try to just come out to family first then to your gay friend and from their gradually tell the people you trust

Why don't you tell people who you've never met before and will never meet again that your gay, apparently this will improve your confidence about coming out etc.

You would tell someone to get it out there. There is a lot of social stigma around homosexuality, and telling someone is a way of reaching out for acceptance and understanding.

Also, it is very confining to keep it all bottled up and a secret. Just, getting it out there helps people relax. This is actually a large cause to the statistic that teens are somewhere between 3-5 times as likely to commit suicide.
