If you're really close with your friend, then is there really a need to date? In your opinion, whats the difference between a close friendship and dating?

The difference to me is the romantic feelings involved and the obvious intention of a potential relationship that comes with dating. And sex/kissing/etc.

You have feelings for each other, you plan to start a relationship, and/or are intimate but you don't consider it a date when you hang out just the two of you?

Nope. It's like our special time together but not a date. I'm thinking of a date as where you take someone out to a restaurant or w/e. We just do sleepovers, eat piazza play video games and well you know

Me and my best friend done what typical people would do, we chilled and messed around and we just to sleep cuddled up together at parties but we went camping together, just the two of us, and we went home as a couple without really expecting much.

This pretty much explains it

I am close friends with a lot of guys and only one actually has this, and surprisingly he's my boyfriend.
