Hello my VT subjects, Recently I started to fall in love with Rock, listening to bands such as Pop Evil, Volbeat, Alter Bridge, Skillet, Pearl Jam and other bands of today and I'm simply asking what other bands I should listen to and if I should check out any other rock sub-genres.

Mainstream rock doesn't really appeal to me that much. I prefer listening to indie rock bands like The National, Of Monsters and Men, or Nico Vega. They're pretty awesome, check 'em out.

One of my favorite newer band is Airbourne, you should check them out. Also you should check out some of the older bands like Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, AC/DC, etc.

- AC/DC
- Metallica
- Animals
- Black Sabbath
- Van Halen
- Led Zeppelin

I could make that list 5 times larger if I wanted to... :D

I love Rock music. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Led Zeppelin, are some of my favorite bands.
