Closing your room's door

Ok now I know this will sound ridiculous :yawn:
I've never closed my room's door (at my mother's). For some reason, it feels kinda weird, but I don't care about that. The thing is that my mother is paranoid as she can be and if I close my door she will start thinking I'm doing drugs or something (seriously she says I smell like cigarettes and I don't smoke anymore lol).
When I'm at my room with the computer I always have to have a "safe window" because she loves to walk in front of my room and look what I'm doing. That's really annoying and I'm darn tired of having to minimize this window while I'm writing this because of she would start thinking I'm talking to pedophiles or something.
Even if I close my room's door at night, when she goes to sleep (she goes to sleep later than I do) she opens it. It might have sense now because we have a cat and he would start scratching the door if it was closed, but she did that before we had the cat.

On the other hand, at my parent's it's like LOGICAL to close my room's door when I'm sleeping. It's natural to close it even when I'm not sleeping. Although I don't feel like I need to, because my father doesn't come into my room to see what I'm doing. But sometimes, if he comes into my room to tell me something, he will close the door when he goes out... And then I'm like "ooooh this is heaven."
And the cats aren't an issue there, we have 2 cats and 2 dogs lol

So... how on eart can I get to close my door on my mother's. Should I just close it? I don't think so, because even if the door is open but it's a too acute angle, she will come and open it more lmao.

Or, instead of closing it all of the way and incurring the wrath of the cat, keep it open maybe an inch or two so it can push it open with its head. My grandma is the same way, But I wouldn't say anything to her.... No need to create a fuss about it....What I would do at my moms is 1 (if your was completely pissed about it) tell her you want your privacy and that if you didn't get it you weren't going to come back for a while.... or 2 (my mom called the cops and told them I barricaded myself in, but when I done this I was actually cleaning lol) close my door and put my dresser in front of it .... then again... you could close it and sleep naked and uncovered.... you might just wake up to a closed door.... lol
