So whenever I want to write a book, I write the first chapter or so, I have majority of the storyline, all psyched up for it, but after a couple of days I get lazy and cbf writing anymore. Any tips for actually finishing my stories?

I like writing long stories, and when you really want to finish them there is one great thing to do:
make kind of a web, write everything you know about the story, location, an characters, start connecting it, and then deal with one of those things at the time.
When you finished it all start placing it in chapters, instead of actually writing it from chapter one to two.

Have a vague plot outline, then commit yourself to sitting down and not getting up until you've written a certain amount, e.g. one chapter. It might help to know how you want the novel to end, so you have something to work towards. Starting is the hardest part so make it easier on yourself. Stop writing when you know what's going to come next, that'll make it easier to start the next time. Good luck :)

I set up a blog where I posted a chapter a week or you could try Wattpad.

Writing straight from the beginning all the way to the end doesn't work for everyone. Some people, like me for instance, prefer to write certain crucial scenes in the plot first, you know, the parts that you're all psyched up for! Then things will start to pull together as you go from there from there until you're done. It is sometimes easier to fill in the blanks than it is to start a whole novel from scratch.

If you write one page every day for one year, you'll have a 365 page novel by the end of that year. If you can write 1-10 pages you can finish with as many pages as it takes. The trick is consistency. You don't have to get everything out at once, but maybe keep notes so you don't forget any ideas along the way.

I'm just like you... I guess we need to just do it, even if we don't feel like it. And after sometime, boredom will go away again. Search on pinterest for "writing", lots of motivational quotes that make me want to write again.
