View Full Version : Sexual dreams?

It was so creepy, because last night I had this dream that sex and things as such were treated as normal( well, not in the way you might think, I live around fairly conservative folks so stuff like that is really a taboo subject around them)
I've definitely never had any sort of sex with anyone before and don't plan to, but I'm pretty sure my actual real-life desires for sex are different from hormone rushes. In my dreams I got close to it, but didn't go all the way, and I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything below the waist, but was horny, which is weird cause I never am. I've never been sexually attracted to anyone to be sure, and still am not.
This has happened only once before and I'm wondering if anyone else has them?

Almost everyone has them, they're completely normal through puberty :) I think its probably best not to take them too seriously.

Even the upmost hellbent conservative people have sexual fantasies, why?
Because they are human.
There's nothing wrong with being horny, and masturbation has great health benefits! I dated a girl who claimed to never get horny, as she grew into her late teens, she wanted to shag anything with 2 legs.
Penting up sexual tension is a daft idea, it's about time you started enjoying a normal, healthy life - and explored your body. If you are worried about being caught, use the shower/bath as an excuse.
Enjoy!

Dreams are from your subconscince and just because you have a certain dream doesn't really mean you want to act on them. I have had some pretty bizarre dreams when it comes to sex some so real I wake up in a puddle. I'm curious why you use the word creepy to describe the dream. You say you have never had sex with anyone does that include yourself as well? if so maybe the dream was triggered by built up stress

I have a lot of sexual dreams, about all sorts of people. Dreams are dreams. As long as I'm not dreaming about fucking a close family member, I'm cool with that. :P

Maybe your mind is trying to tell you to lighten up. Not to be conservative. You shouldn't be affraid of a sexual dream.

Awesome! You skipped one very important step in there, though.

I don't know if this sounds weird, but I have never had a sexual dream. I wouldn't be scared if I had one though. It's a normal part of being a human, expecially during teen years.

I have problems with both of these answers. It doesn't necessarily mean she's too conservative, and even if it is, it's her choice.
From what I got from OP's first post (OP's OP? eh?) she's either asexual, or feels about the same way asexuals do.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING CONSERVATIVE. Asexuality is a perfectly legitimate sexuality. There's nothing wrong with not wanting sex, or not becoming sexually attracted to anyone.
You're correlating sexual arousal to being "human", as if the lack thereof is somehow "alien", or wrong. You're also implying that she doesn't know what she wants and that it will change.
She doesn't exactly seem to have much sexual tension, if she's asexual, she wouldn't.
It's not "unhealthy" to be asexual, it's just the way one is. If OP is not asexual or grey-a, and she feels that she wants to try masturbating, power to her. If she's not, that's her choice. She shouldn't be conned into something she's uncomfortable with because she's pressured to with words like "healthy" or "normal".
I'm personally not asexual, I'm grey-a, and even that's debatable. I like sex. However I don't really care to masturbate much, and if I lived with my boyfriend, I probably wouldn't do it at all. There's nothing wrong with that.
However, I do have a friend who is asexual, and she's constantly been called a "freak" or a "prude" because she has no interest in sex. It doesn't sit well with me to hear about someone who is, or might be asexual being treated as abnormal or stodgy just because of the way they are.
I'm sorry if I offended either of you, it just bothers me to see this unbalanced sort of attitude towards those who are hyposexual.

Happens to me as well, especially if I don't get my bedtime orgasm, then all sorts of things run through my mind while I'm asleep so like Lisa said - have to take care of business and put my mind at ease :)

Most people get sexual dreams at some point or another, it's nothing to worry about.

I often get them, and usually it will happen a couple of times in the dream and all of a sudden I just feel sooooo good in my dream. Can't really feel the actual pulsing mainly a really really strong tingling that just feels amazing. I don't know about you but often the orgasm seems to last longer? It's great when it happens.

If you feel horny go with it and don't fight it cause you will probably enjoy it.

I have sexual dreams a lot – don't know why. I don't really masturbate much so maybe that's got something to do with it. Sometimes I wake up feeling a bit wet and just roll over and go back to sleep. Other times I wake with a bad ache and know I have to masturbate as I'm too tense to get back to sleep. One of the best types of sex dreams is when most of the buildup happens in the dream and I wake up just as I'm about to come. I know I just have to lie there on my back for a few seconds and then I'll get that amazing pulsing without having to touch myself. The absolute best tho is when I wake up with an intense tingling in my tummy. I can leave it to fade away but it take ages to go and leaves me feeling really annoyed, but I just know if I roll over and lie on my pillow I'll get this really long tingley buildup without doing very much then I'll explode and go back to sleep a happy girl! I think sex dreams are great. They're just natural, especially if you don't touch yourself much I think. My first ever orgasm happened one morning as I woke up and it just was the best thing ever! The hardest part is keeping quiet if someone else is in the room tho.
