I'm really feeling badly inside. I went to vacation at a resort, and literally the first night the most beautiful girl id ever seen walked onto the scene. I built up my courage (well, had a few drinks more like) and walked over and talked with her. It went amazingly from the start! We spent the entire night together, laughing and having fun, drinking and and dancing. We even swam together at 4 am. Ultimately, we ended up hooking up at around 6, and I slept in her room after. To clarify, I'm 19 and she's 18. Anyway, you can imagine I was utterly ecstatic. I remember that lovely sense of calm and peace I had when she lay on me sleeping...it felt extremely intimate and I was sure she was into me - she even held my hand! As luck would have it, it turned out we were from not only the same country but the same city as well. Unfortunately, she was leaving the next day (while I had a week) but I made sure to get her number. A few days later I texted her and we had a good conversation. It was flirty, light and she was helping keeping it going. Anyway, I had planned to ask her out when I returned (to something casual) but I got a little too wasted one of the nights and just texted her. Luckily it wasn't a wasted text in style, and it was just like "Hey, on Saturday do you wanna catch a movie with me or something?" It was a bad idea, made me seem a lil desperate, but I thought that if she liked me, it would make no difference. But she never responded...it's been almost two days now, while before it only took 30 minutes maximum in between texts. I feel crushed...this girl seemed so fantastic; our personalities truly meshed (to the extent that they can in one night). I want so badly to give the potential that is there a chance to develop. Anyway, can anyone give me any advice or opinion of the situation?

Wait for you vacation to end and then try to text her once again, or even try to meet her face to face again. If you think what you two had was more deep than just a one night stand, then you need to be persistent and don't give up on her, she might feel the same.
