unless your friend knows this person AND will somehow be opposed to you liking her. Other than that, it should be fine. May I ask, are there any reasons why you think this wont be a good idea?

well if he dusnt know her there shudnt be a problem with it.
If u, him and this chick went to hang out, and he didnt know you like her he wouldnt know she is outa bounds. So if you plan to hang out with them both at the same time make sure you tell him you lyk her

try telling someone that knows this girl.that way, your friend would tell the girl that you like her.then you dont need to tell her directly that you like her.hey,if this girl likes you back, she will come right to you because now she knows you like her too.but if she doesnt like you then she will just think its a rumour :)
