MSM vs Gay/Bi

Hi all,

So since I've been on this forum it's come to my attention that there seem to be a lot of people that consider themselves straight that also have experimented with, or otherwise had sexual contact with other males. As a university student, this has made me a bit curious so I'd like to do a little research.

This semester in my class on the HIV/AIDS epidemic, we talked about using the term Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) instead of gay or bi when talking about people. We do this because there are guys who have sex with other guys who do not consider themselves gay or bisexual, and it is the behavior that is relevant, not the label.

My question is mostly targeted at MSM who do not consider themselves gay or bi, but I welcome all responses. For the purposes of this post, let's define sexual contact as any contact with the genitals of another guy for the purpose of deriving sexual pleasure.

The problem is that I think I would prefer if it was a guy, because I think guys understand me better than girls.
